Picture Update

As promised, here are some pictures:

A few people asked about the castle.  My family used to own this castle for many generations, but after the German Revolution, royalty was abolished, and we had to give it up...just kidding......(a slight twist on the fairy tale that a lot of Korean parents tell their children).

The big moment

Step 1: Pick the moon from the sky

Step 2: Place on Julia's hand.
Oops...wrong place

Ok, here we go!

Mission accomplished!

She said "yes!"

As some of you may know, Julia and I traveled to Germany for our Christmas vacation.  On the afternoon of Christmas Eve, we went for a walk to a hunting lodge/castle ("Schloss Solitude") just outside of Stuttgart.  There, I got on my knees, pulled the ring out of my pocket and asked her to marry me.  After a few seconds, she finally said "yes!".

Afterwards, we headed to downtown Stuttgart and attended the Christmas Eve service in the chapel of the Old Castle ("Altes Schloss").  It was a clear, starry night with a full moon!  I forgot to bring the memory card of my digital camera today, so I'll post some more personal pictures tomorrow.

Thanks for all your support and prayers!  Now on to wedding planning...
